This stately brick-front home delivers space, style, and functionality across three fully finished levels. Set on a large, gently sloping lot in Huntingtown, MD, this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom property combines classic charm with modern living. All 4 generously sized bedrooms occupy the upper level, creating a private sanctuary away from the main living areas. Bathrooms are strategically positioned across all 3 floors for everyday ease: a full bath in the finished basement, one on the main level, and one upstairs. The main level showcases an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area flooded with natural light, polished hardwood flooring, and direct access to the expansive sunroom, a bright, airy space overlooking the backyard. The kitchen features updated white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a center island that works equally well for everyday meals or entertaining guests. The finished walkout basement offers exceptional versatility with a full second kitchen, spacious living area, and full bathroom, designed for in-laws, guests, or even rental income. Double doors open to the backyard, where ample space awaits outdoor enjoyment throughout the seasons. Additional highlights include a full-length covered front porch with room for rocking chairs and seasonal décor, an oversized 2-car garage with clean floors. There’s also a bonus storage space and a wide driveway. Fresh paint throughout and upgraded lighting fixtures add a polished touch. The expansive backyard offers privacy and serenity. Located a short drive from local shops, schools, and major commuter routes, this home balances peaceful surroundings with everyday accessibility. For multi-generational living, rental flexibility, or simply more square footage, this residence delivers on every level. Literally. "It has a detached workshop that is more than 700 square feet. "

RCD
Rural Community District
The Rural Community District RCD is intended to maintain a mix of farms, forests, and residential uses, retain historic and scenic areas, and protect watersheds, fish, and wildlife. These goals are to be achieved in part through the mandatory clustering of subdivisions on parcels 30 acres or greater in size, with a minimum of 60 percent of the subdivision to be permanently preserved as open space. It is the intent to maintain a low residential density within this district while still allowing for some use of Transferable Development Rights TDRs. To avoid drawing traffic onto rural roads commercial uses are limited.
