Discover the space you’ve been looking for in this 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath home on 3 acres in Ridge. With more bedrooms than most homes at this price, there’s room for everyone: family, guests, home offices, or hobbies. The main level features a bedroom and full bath, a large and elegant dining room, a walk-in pantry, and a convenient laundry room with a deep sink and toilet. The spacious kitchen with breakfast bar and nook opens to the family room with a gas fireplace, creating a natural gathering space. Upstairs, you’ll find five more bedrooms, including a large primary suite with a jetted tub, dual sink, and a makeup area, plus two reading nooks or homework areas in the hallway. A full walk-up basement with rough-in for a bathroom and high ceiling provides plenty of storage or future finished space. A new roof was installed in December 2022. Step outside to enjoy the large and open yard, wraparound porch, deck, patio, firepit, above-ground pool, shed, playground swing, and chicken coop. The location is another highlight: close to Pier 450 waterfront dining and lodge, SALT Waterfront Kitchen, and Courtney’s Seafood, three of Southern Maryland’s well-known waterfront restaurants. You’re also just minutes from the Smith Island Cruise departure point, making day trips across the Bay part of your lifestyle. Add in proximity to Historic St. Mary’s City and Point Lookout State Park, local marinas, easy commute to NAS Pax River, Webster Field Naval bases, and Washington DC, this home offers space, comfort, and the best of Southern Maryland living.

RPD
Rural Preservation District
The regulations of Rural Preservation Districts are intended to foster agricultural, forestry, mineral resource extraction, and aquacultural uses and protect the land base necessary to support these activities. Low density residential development in this type of district is permitted subject to performance standards that maintain the rural character of the district in recognition of the fact that a full range of public facilities is not provided or planned. The farmer has the right to farm without being restricted by neighboring residential areas. Restricted hours of operation for farm equipment, restricted odor-producing fertilizers, or mandatory noise reductions may not be imposed on farmers in an RPD zoning district. The general intent of the district is to encourage farming without undue burden on the landowner. In accordance with these intentions, the following provisions for the protection of agricultural uses will apply: (1) Any farm use of land is permitted. (2) Operation, at any time, of machinery used in farm production or the primary processing of agricultural products is permitted. (3) Normal agricultural activities and operations in accordance with good husbandry practices, which do not cause bodily injury or directly endanger human health, are permitted and preferred activities, including activities that may produce normal agriculture related noise and odors. (4) The sale of farm products produced on the farm where the sales are made is permitted.
