As the saying goes, “If you are lucky enough to live on the water, you are lucky enough. ” Welcome to life on the Chesapeake Bay. This waterfront rambler has been updated, while keeping the charm intact. As you enter through the front door, the shiplapped foyer features custom built storage for coats and shoes, and brand new luxury vinyl plank flooring which flows through most of the home. Off of the foyer is the first of the 3 bedrooms – a huge room with views of the bay. Though the owners are currently using this as a bunk room, it would also make a wonderful additional living space. The floorplan of this home is very flexible for buyers to use as they see fit. The updated kitchen features custom painted cabinets inspired by driftwood, while keeping a vintage esthetic. The kitchen opens to dining, and sunroom. In the dining room, the original brick fireplace and built-in bookcases have been updated and are a cozy focal point. The large sunroom living area is the epitome of beachfront cottage charm, with expansive views of the bay, original built-in shelving, and custom-stained wood paneled walls. Directly off the sunroom is the patio, with outdoor shower right around the corner. Continuing inside, the laundry room offers another exterior exit with adorable screened entryway, so as you come from the beach, you can shower off and then enter the house through the laundry room to conveniently drop off your wet towels, etc. Two more bedrooms with two full bathrooms complete the home, with the master having its own bathroom with shower, and more views of the bay – the perfect view to wake up to! No HOA here, and the location, convenient to Point Lookout State Park, NAS Pax River, and Webster Field, is perfect for year-round living or a vacation home!

RPD
Rural Preservation District
The regulations of Rural Preservation Districts are intended to foster agricultural, forestry, mineral resource extraction, and aquacultural uses and protect the land base necessary to support these activities. Low density residential development in this type of district is permitted subject to performance standards that maintain the rural character of the district in recognition of the fact that a full range of public facilities is not provided or planned. The farmer has the right to farm without being restricted by neighboring residential areas. Restricted hours of operation for farm equipment, restricted odor-producing fertilizers, or mandatory noise reductions may not be imposed on farmers in an RPD zoning district. The general intent of the district is to encourage farming without undue burden on the landowner. In accordance with these intentions, the following provisions for the protection of agricultural uses will apply: (1) Any farm use of land is permitted. (2) Operation, at any time, of machinery used in farm production or the primary processing of agricultural products is permitted. (3) Normal agricultural activities and operations in accordance with good husbandry practices, which do not cause bodily injury or directly endanger human health, are permitted and preferred activities, including activities that may produce normal agriculture related noise and odors. (4) The sale of farm products produced on the farm where the sales are made is permitted.
