This fully furnished house has three bedrooms, the master with a king-sized bed, two full baths, one of which has a beautiful clawfoot tub. The first floor has a large eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room with high ceilings and a fireplace, a quiet den, and a roomy, screened front porch with views of Linekin Bay. Located in picturesque East Boothbay, this house is just across Ocean Point Road from beautiful Linekin Bay. Originally built in 1920, the house was completely renovated in 2022. There are new insulated windows, wall and ceiling insulation, and a new year-round circulating hot-water-heating system. The electric service was also replaced with a 200-AMP electric service and new wiring. To complete the remodeling, the plumbing was completely replaced as well. It's a short drive down the road to the treasure of the region, Ocean Point, a rare public access to Maine's spectacular rocky coastline. Residents and guests can walk, run, cycle or drive a lovely 2-mile oceanfront loop called the Shore Road, which also has a delightfully picturesque beach with a swim dock. The house is completely furnished with 3 bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 has a queen-size bed, and bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed and a twin over twin over twin bunk bed. Together, the bedrooms can accommodate 6 adults and 3 children. For the fun of it, children (or anyone else) can take advantage of the two roll-away beds (with mattresses) in the bunk house, which is attached to the house just across the breezeway from the kitchen. There is also a fenced side yard off the kitchen breezeway. The driveway has space for 3 or 4 cars. Roughly 100 yards from the house is the entrance to Linekin and Burley Preserves, two adjacent preserves that in total protect 138 wooded acres and 651 feet of waterfront. Here you can hike the nearly 3 miles of trails over a rocky ridge to the Damariscotta River. The trails wind through a forest of old hardwood and pine, and along streams and ponds, from the Linekin Bay side of the peninsula to the Damariscotta side. Virtually all the other Boothbay region's attractions - Maine State Aquarium, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, beaches, boating, grocery stores, and restaurants - are only minutes away. The rental period is October through May. Additional time may be rented during June to be negotiated.
