This home was completely remodeled and expanded in 2009. Perfectly situated halfway between downtown Kennebunk and the beautiful beaches, this home is ideal for many reasons. Features hardwood floors, granite countertop in the kitchen with a gas cooktop, large dining room with a gas fireplace, a spacious living room with cathedral ceilings and a wood fireplace for that warm atmosphere during a cold Maine winter. It has a screened, attached gazebo overlooking the backyard to get closer to nature in the spring, summer, and fall. Its many outstanding features include radiant heat in the master bath and a partly finished basement that makes a great recreation room. There is also a nice workshop in the unfinished part of the basement where you can create your own projects.
*Taxable value of land and structures on it ("additions") is determined regularly by local assessors and does not affect market price.

Suburban Residential District
The purpose of the Suburban Residential District is to acknowledge and respect an established pattern of residential development, predominantly on one- and two-acre lots, such as exists along the Sea Road and Route 35 corridors between Kennebunk Village and Lower Village. The intention of the district is to allow additional development that is harmonious with the established neighborhoods in these areas, can safely coexist with the rural and suburban landscape of these areas, including wooded lands, adjacent wetlands, and a gently rolling topography and roadways that are fitted to that topography and will not unduly change the historic character of segments of these areas. The Comprehensive Plan recognized that public sewer lines serve portions of the Suburban Residential District and may be extended to other parts of the district to replace failing septic systems on poor soils; but the Plan's intention for the district is to maintain a relatively low density of development as a break between the more intensely developed Kennebunk Village and Lower Village.
