The A, Agricultural district is intended to preserve, enhance and stabilize existing areas within the Township which are presently used for general farming and areas which, because of their soil characteristics and flora should be conserved for agricultural use. In addition, premature urban development within rural areas can result in increased public costs because of the necessity of serving scattered urban development with water, sewer, schools, roadways, and other public services.
