This sprawling tree-lined 2-acre property just minutes from downtown Okemos includes a primary home with woodsy charm, a detached garage with dog run, and a second two-story apartment with indoor RV parking. You'll love the mature landscaping, fenced-in yard, three-tiered deck, and bonus lounge space with a wood-burning stove and vintage chandeliers. The main living/dining/kitchen area is move-in ready! Hard wood floors, and neutral paint. A full bath and main floor laundry is just around the corner. The bedroom wing is up a few stairs and includes a third vaulted living area, flagged by 2 large bedrooms each with a full bath and walk-in closet. A third smaller bedroom is between them. Extra tall basement ceilings are incredible! Current set up is a recording studio though we love it as a soundproof space for anybody who wants to make some noise (kids!) A 3-seasons room is attached for a future hot tub, a greenhouse, or just rest and relaxation. For the person looking for separate living space on your own property, look no further. This incredible and rustic red RV garage includes an inviting shaded porch leading to a full kitchen, full bath, and efficiency style living space ready for your Pinterest dreams to come true (currently has water heater but no HVAC installed.) The RV parking could also be used in many unique ways, such as for events, skateboarding, painting, or other hobbies. Originally a horse stall, a separate area of this unit could allow for chickens (horses are no longer allowed). The chance to tour 5448 Okemos is here! And it won't last long. RAAA
One-Family Low-Density Residential District
The purpose of the RAAA district is to achieve the same character, stability, and sound residential environment as intended for the one-family rural residential districts RR and RRA. The difference between RR/RRA and RAAA districts is that a higher density of population will be permitted through the construction and occupancy of one-family dwelling structures on smaller lot areas. There is no intent to promote by these regulations a residential district of lower quality than the RR/RRA one-family rural residential districts. This section applies to the RAAA district.
