Have you ever dreamed about owning your own country estate? Set atop a rolling hillside, 4833 Harper Rd. is for those who want a relaxed country lifestyle. Five minutes from Lansing, this immaculate centennial farmhouse was professionally renovated and offers an addition with ample new dining and kitchen space. Pass through a secluded 1st floor laundry and bath, and you descend into a hideaway recreation room with window well, or enter the security of a grade level two car garage. A separate basement area houses a state-of-the-art heat-pump/propane furnace. Upstairs from the dining room you cross a marble foyer into a spacious living room, warm yourself by a wood burning fireplace, and let your eyes take you from the bay window into an agricultural landscape. Retire upstairs to three bedrooms and two full baths, or you can open the French doors into a handcrafted den. From the window doors at the rear you can lounge on the deck while you gaze past a 30x40 pole barn, ancient hardwoods, and watch deer and turkey wander in and out of the wilderness.

A-1
Agricultural District
This district is intended to preserve, enhance and stabilize existing areas within the township which are presently used predominately for general farming and areas which, because of their soil characteristics and natural flora, should be conserved for agricultural use. In addition, premature urban development within rural areas can result in increased public costs because of the necessity of serving scattered urban developments with water, sewer, schools, roadways and other public services. It is, therefore, the purpose of this district to promote the orderly and harmonious development of the township by preserving predominately rural lands from premature urban development and to preserve the essential characteristics and economic value of this district as agricultural lands; To achieve these objectives, permitted uses within this district are limited to agricultural and low-density rural residential use, together with such limited community facilities as schools, churches and public open spaces.
