The R-2, district is intended to accommodate associated uses and facilities e.g., cultural, religious, education, governmental that serve residents of the district. It is further the intent of this district to prohibit or restrict land uses that would interfere with the development or maintenance of neighborhoods; generate traffic on local roads in excess of typical residential traffic; or, create public service costs and requirements in excess of the cost and requirements for a typical R-2 residential development.
