R-3
Single Family Residential District
The R-3 Single Family Residential Districts are intended to provide areas within the Township suitable for residential use in a family type atmosphere. It is intended that R-3 Districts be developed in accordance with availability of public utilities. Thus, it is intended that areas be established where public utilities are not available while smaller lot areas be established only where public sewers are available. R-3 zones are designated in accordance with the Township Master Plan objectives in keeping with the semi-rural character envisioned for the majority of the Township. Furthermore, it is intended that the designation of R-3 Districts take into account and preserve the environment and physical characteristics of the land.
