AG
Agricultural District
The purpose of the AG District is to preserve and protect the decreasing supply of prime agricultural land. The AG District is designed to apply to rural agricultural areas of the Township which should not be developed for urban purposes in the foreseeable future and control indiscriminate infiltration of urban development in agricultural areas which adversely affects agricultural operations. The district also provides for the establishment of uses which require large land areas and which, because of their nature, can be developed in rural areas. The AG agricultural district will not permit uses which would create a premature demand for urban services. All parcels in the Agricultural District shall be at least 5 acres in size and have a minimum frontage of 250 ft.
