General Agricultural District
This district is intended to provide an area primarily for agricultural purposes and low density residential development. Because of the rural nature, it is the purpose of this district to encourage and protect such uses from urbanization until such is warranted and the appropriate change in district classification is made. The provisions of these zoning regulations shall not be exercised so as to require permits with reference to land used for agricultural purposes, or for the erection, maintenance, repair or extension of farm buildings or farm structures in the unincorporated areas of Jackson County. This district does not allow campers, travel trailers, tents or recreational vehicles to be used for living purposes.
