In 1979, I decided to leave NYC and move to New Hampshire. I worked with a realtor who patiently showed me many homes. Each one lacked something, which I could not put into words. The moment I saw 70 Thompson Road, I said " I'll take it”. The house just welcomed me with great warmth. The first winter I spent there was amazing because I met so many people who had a personal connection with the "Lucy Thompson Farm". During a renovation, I found a time capsule, in a wall, with a special note, from a young boy. At some point, I needed to relocate. Friends of mine, who also fell in love with the house, asked me if they might live there. 35 years later, I now must close this chapter. The property has a pond (which I built), a trout stream, barn, and 4.5 acres, which have been organically gardened. The Cape has been a wonderful home. .. but still needs a good deal of care and renovation. NOTE: Owner is a licensed real estate broker. Showings begin on 11/1/2018
