Residential Standards Zone
The purpose of the R-5 Zone is to implement the Master Plan recommendation for a low-density suburban/rural transition area from the City center suburbs to the City greenbelt. The R-5 Zone provides an area for development of low-density single-family detached housing. Farms will continue to be permitted, and farmland preservation as part of the low-density residential area is encouraged and supported by the City.
