This was Mildred Cusey's "ranch", the infamous Grant County madame. After leaving downtown Silver City, Millie moved to the ranch. You can see some of her work, including tiles with the Cusey brand built in to the fireplace. There is a safe in the floor, and her sign is on the underside of the floor board 'lid' covering the safe. This is really two homes tied together by a breezeway. The country kitchen in the back house is 27' x 21-1/2' and the living room in that house is 23.8' x 22-1/2'. Really comfortable rooms. It allows for two families quite comfortably and conveniently. Outbuildings include a pole barn and shop.
