Great Southwest location with features such as Harwood flooring, office/den with built-ins, combined formal living & dining room, 3 gas fireplaces, polished granite countertops & work island, Thermador 5-burner cooktop and double wall ovens, microwave & Bosch dishwasher. Main-floor master suite with 2-sided fireplace opening onto the bedroom and jetted tub. Concrete brick form the courtyard patio, which is screened by a low wall and some landscaping. Stone-brick facing covers the courtyard wall, on the front of the garage and at the bottom of the outside living room wall. The rest of the exterior is stucco, beneath a dark concrete-tile roof. Almost every room that is not carpeted is covered with genuine hardwood flooring which has a granite-tile insert in the home’s entryway. Slightly off to one side of this feature, a wood railed circular stair leads to the basement level. Immediately to the right of the front door are the double French doors to the His-and-hers office, which has a built-in dual desk and hutch that fills the far wall. Rows of small lights provide extra illumination both down onto the work surfaces and up along the shelves of the hutch. Past the office, a hallway runs past a powder room, with a white porcelain pedestal sink and an oval mirror; the laundry room with two tile counters, a utility sing and wood cabinets; and two of the four bedrooms. One of these bedrooms has its own full bathroom, with a large shower and travertine-like floors. The other is the master suite, which has huge windows that let in plenty of light and double doors that open off the side of the hall. A glass-fronted, double sided gas fireplace sits in a wall separating the master bedroom from the jetted tub in the bathroom. Beyond the tub is a large walk-in shower stall, while a double-sing vanity sits along the opposite wall. Separate his-and her walk-in closets and a separate room for the commode are at the far end of the bathroom. To the right of the front door is the combined formal living room and dining room, with a gas fireplace in the eastern wall and a chandelier that drops down where the dining table is. A doorway leads from the dining room to the combined kitchen/dining nook/family room, from which a wall full of windows provides a view of the western Truckee Meadows, Peavine Peak and the foothills. A French door in the outside wall of the family room open to a patio one side of which has been plumbed for a gas grill. Polished granite cover the kitchen’s countertops and a large central work island. Custom made wood cabinets provide plenty of storage, while a nearby built-in desk give a little extra household command space. The kitchen’s stainless steel appliances include a Thermador five-burner gas cooktop in the work island (which also has a small vegetable sink), over-and –under Thermador electric wall ovens, microwave oven and a Bosch Dishwasher. The other two bedrooms are in the basement level, recreation room with a full wet bar at the bottom of the staircase. The first-floor patio forms the roof of the covered porch outside the rec room, which can be reached via a sliding-glass door. A hallway leads to the bedrooms past a full bathroom. One bedroom has double doors from the hallway and could serve as an office. The other bedroom has its own separate bathroom and easily could serve as a guest
