Residential Planned Unit Conservation Development District
The R-PUCD is developed under the provisions of Section 519.021 of the Ohio Revised Code (Planned Unit Development Regulations) to promote the general public welfare, encourage the efficient use of land and resources, promote greater efficiency in providing public and utility services, and encourage innovation in the planning and building while also promoting the public health, safety, and morals. Furthermore, the Residential Planned Unit Conservation Development District (RPUCD) is intended to maintain and protect the rural, natural, and scenic qualities of Sugarcreek Township by providing for the ability to develop conservation subdivisions where at least 50% of a site is preserved as open space.
