1. The character of the community shall be maintained as predominantly low-density single-family residential, with open space for community use and environmental Preservation.; 2. These single-family residential zoning districts permit new single-family residential development at a maximum gross density of two dwelling units per acre; 3. It is the intent of this ordinance that no undeveloped land shall be rezoned to the R-1d single-family residential zoning classification. The purpose of the R-1d single-family residential zoning classification is to accommodate existing residential development that occurred prior to the adoption of this ordinance.; 4.
