Handcrafted from an early 1900’s barn, this home is HGTV worthy! All the character and charm has been preserved yet this home functions with today’s open layout and design. This is very evident in the kitchen that features the original posts and beams from the barn including a horse hitch but provides a gourmet chef’s experience with a gas cooktop, double ovens, dual sinks and faucets, endless Corian and granite countertops, cherry cabinets, serving buffet and more. This fabulous kitchen is open to a new addition that includes a great room and dining area. The great room is highlighted by a custom millwork gas fireplace and bay window. The spacious dining area seats 10 or more for holiday dinners. A wall of sliding doors from the dining area beckons you onto the expansive deck for outdoor living and entertaining. The deck provides a breathtaking view of your meandering gardens, pond and waterfall, pool and over 3 acres to enjoy. French doors off the kitchen lead into the formal living room with wood burning fireplace. Upstairs the addition provides a master bedroom retreat with walk-in closet, master bath with dual sinks, granite counters, ceramic tile shower and claw foot tub. There are four additional bedrooms, including one that showcases the original barn beam. A large full bath completes the second floor. The basement includes a finished rec room, workshop, laundry, endless storage and more. Updated from top to bottom, this one of a kind home is stunning! See 3D tour.
