About this home
Seclusion, Nature, and Space — Minutes from Everything. Tucked away on two wooded acres just a short drive from Norman and moments from Lake Thunderbird, this cedar home offers something increasingly rare in central Oklahoma: genuine privacy without sacrifice. Mature trees frame the property on all sides, creating a park-like setting that draws wildlife and filters the outside world down to birdsong and wind. Whether you're watching deer from the sunroom's wall of windows or simply enjoying the stillness of the surrounding landscape, this property delivers on the promise of a nature retreat — one with gigabit internet already in place. The rustic cedar exterior gives way to a thoughtfully updated interior — remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, new flooring, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, and electrical throughout. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a light-filled sunroom make this a genuinely comfortable full-time residence that happens to feel like an escape. Additional outbuildings include a two-car detached garage, a 30x19 barn, and a 6x8 storage building — plenty of room for equipment, hobbies, and the practical needs of rural living. An in-ground storm shelter handles Oklahoma's less charming seasons. Lake Thunderbird State Park is just down the road. Norman's amenities are a short commute. The trees, the quiet, and the wildlife are right outside the door. Recent updates include a remodeled kitchen and bathroom, new flooring, paint, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, electrical system, etc. Don't miss out on this tranquil home by the lake!
If you are looking for a country getaway on 2 acres look no further. Rustic cedar cabin with 2 car detached garage. Extremely well maintained home! Built in 1948 but remodeled in the 90s. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, nice living room with an attached sunroom/den with a wall of windows looking out on the park like setting surrounding the home. Property has a 6x8 storage building and a 13x19 barn/storage shed along with a 16x20 workshop/studio with window unit for A/C and a gas furnace for heat. Home has an in ground storm shelter as well. Very neat unique property.

This district is intended to provide a zoning classification for land situated relatively remote from the urban area which is used for agricultural and related purposes and will not be undergoing urbanization in the immediate future. The types of uses, the area and the intensity of use of land which is authorized in this district is designed to encourage and protect all agricultural uses until urbanization is warranted and the appropriate change in district classification is made.
