Tucked into the scenic Lower Umpqua River Basin, this private 6.32-acre farmstead offers a rare blend of natural beauty, productive land, and peaceful rural living. Surrounded by forested hills and abundant wildlife, the 2-bedroom, 2-bath home with 1,444 sq ft sits above the valley overlooking pasture, orchard, and creek. A year-round creek (Hakki Creek) winds through the property, creating a picturesque setting beside the massive two-story barn with power and five horse stalls. The land is thoughtfully developed for country living with fully fenced gardens and two lower fenced pastures for livestock, along with an established orchard featuring approximately 80 fruit trees, including apples, pears, peaches, plums, grapes, and kiwi. Outbuildings offer exceptional versatility with a shop with power, produce & meat locker building, chicken coops, and two loafing sheds (one powered). An irrigation well dedicated to agricultural use supports the farm while a separate domestic well services the home. Wildlife is a daily experience here. The property sits next to the Dean Creek Elk Reserve, where herds of Roosevelt elk are frequently seen roaming the surrounding valley. The nearby Umpqua River and wetlands provide a well-known bird sanctuary habitat, attracting a variety of waterfowl, raptors, and migratory birds throughout the year. Inside, the home features fresh interior updates, updated electrical, and a permitted pellet stove heating system. Relax on the deck overlooking the countryside, or step outside to enjoy the orchard, gardens, and creekside setting. With room for horses, tractors, farm equipment, ATVs, boats, and RV parking, this property is ideal for hobby farming, homesteading, or a peaceful rural retreat just minutes from Reedsport schools, shopping, and the Oregon Coast.
