Willow Pond Estate provides a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of history in the heart of Bucks County. This classic stone farmhouse dates back to the 1700's. Generations of families have provided careful stewardship of this estate. Each family added new amenities while keeping the original beauty intact. This home is comprised of three separate parcels of land totaling 6.89 acres. The main home, barn and pastures total 4.3 acres, the parcel featuring the spring-fed pond, for which the property is named, totals 1.25 acres and the private wooded lot is 1.25 acres. This estate is also being offered without the private wooded lot (see MLS listing #6615813). The house and recently renovated barn are set back at the end of a mature tree-lined driveway. From the circle drive, enter the home through a historically replicated farmhouse porch addition designed by renowned architect Lynn Taylor. The first floor is filled with character from restored hardwood floors to gorgeous views from every window. The large, gourmet, eat-in kitchen, features William Draper cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, exposed beams, wide plank pine floors, a Mercer Tile fireplace and an artistic blend of soapstone, marble and hand-planed wood counter tops. A charming breakfast nook overlooks a beautifully landscaped patio and in-ground salt water pool. The family room has a cozy stone fireplace and lofted ceiling, and the living room and office feature the original wood beams. The second floor bedrooms each have unique character. The master suite has access to the kitchen by a charming pie shaped staircase and features: vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, glass French doors opening to a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool, exposed beams, and double walk-in closets. The master bath has a porcelain slipper tub, bluestone counter top and glass enclosed shower. A 2nd bedroom features a unique loft, a 3rd bedroom, small stone fireplace and built-in sitting area and a 4th, shuttered windows overlooking the family room. The renovated 2-two-story Barn features a billiard room, exercise room, plus game room on first floor and an Indoor basketball court on the second floor. Additional property features: garage, carport, Bocce court, outdoor shower, and stunning views in every direction. Superb location, walking distance to Peace Valley Park, short drive to Doylestown. 120 minutes to New York. Blue Ribbon Central Bucks Schools. Welcome Home!
