Hilltown Twp. awaits you! This charming, Old World, 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath colonial (original farmhouse circa 1884) has enjoyed a major addition in 1988. Classic front porch for rocking and visiting with friends and neighbors. Stepping in the front door (to the left ) is the original living room with hardwood flooring, wood beams plus a very cool metal chandelier. Formal dining room with hardwood flooring and built-ins plus ceiling fan with light. From there, head to the kitchen which was remodeled with custom Roger S. Wright Furniture, Ltd. cabinetry and double stainless steel sinks, dark corian counter tops, and vinyl brick style flooring. This was over $16k to do in early 2000's. Creamy bisque appliances stand out against the rich countertops. Long bar very handy to have stools when folks come to gather. There was a wood stove in there that was removed, however, new owner could put a new one in, if desired. Wood beams on the ceiling with old fashion wagon wheel light fixture. From the kitchen enjoy the large sunroom with lots of windows and plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the views. A large pool table is right in center of this room for plenty of fun games. Going through this room is a large family room with propane gas fireplace and side door to get back to driveway area. From the first side door, the mud room with real brick flooring is a great place for book bags, boots and coats. Powder room and laundry are also part of this mud room. Heading upstairs there is a huge primary suite. From this room can head out to an upstairs deck that once held a hot tub. It has extra support in case new buyer wants to put another one there. Lovely views from here. New additions all offer central air. 2 other bedrooms on this floor plus another full bath and a smaller room that could be a nursery or office. On 3rd floor is another large bedroom with additional storage areas. Newer windows, oil heat, baseboard electric heat on 3rd floor. Propane gas for cooking and fireplace. Oil heat in main areas of home. BRAND NEW SEPTIC installed in 2021! Garages on the property. One extension has a very damaged roof but seller hesitant to take down in case new buyer wants a larger garage. See plans uploaded to MLS. Former owner had plans for a large garage that had been approved by Hilltown Twp. Buyer would still need final approval from township. Close to Tabora Farms for yummy pies, minutes to Peace Valley Park for boating, picnicking, hiking, bicycling and enjoying the scenery! Convenient to routes 313 and 309 for traveling to Doylestown, Quakertown or Philadelphia. Blue Ribbon Pennridge School District! 1 year home warranty for peace of mind.
