Welcome Home! From the moment you arrive at 3979 Powell Rd. , expect to be impressed. This magnificent property is located in the highly sought after neighborhood of Byers Station. As you stroll along the meandering front walk, you'll notice both the exquisite landscaping in addition to the gorgeous hardscaping. The spacious front porch offers a respite from the heat, while the grand entry foyer beckons you in. The soaring two story center hall features handsome hardwood flooring and a stunning staircase. To the left you will find the formal dining room, enhanced with a gorgeous chandelier, decorative mill work and tray ceiling. To the right is the formal living area with wall to wall built-ins, that is presently being used as a home office space. As you step into the expanded, Palladian kitchen, you will notice you start to relax and unwind. This kitchen will take your breath away, with a large center granite island, gleaming white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There is seating for 4 at the counter, but ample room for a large table in the breakfast area. The family room is next, boasting a two story ceiling, anchored by a wall of windows and an attractive stone fireplace and decorative trim work. The open floor plan is desirable for family gatherings or entering a group! The oversized deck is accessed from the kitchen and is just ideal for curling up with a book or dining al fresco. Another level down is a hardscaped patio complete with fire pit - don't forget to pack the marshmallows. The flat back yard is fenced in and ready to play! A spacious laundry, a home office (or playroom!) and sizable pantry round out the first level. Upstairs, the owner's suite awaits! If you are looking for a wow factor, this room has it! Accessed through double doors, the suite is enhanced with a vaulted ceiling and separate seating area done in hard wood. Down the hall is a dressing area, three massive closets and the en-suite bathroom, with his and her vanities and a zen-like spa feel to it . You will be amazed by the upper level hallway that is open and airy, and leads to 3 additional bedrooms, (one en-suite bathroom) and a hall bath. Upgrades to this property include: an expanded family room, basement ceilings raised to 9 feet with walk-out access, and 3 car garage which enhanced the size of the owner's suite significantly. Neighborhood amenities include 2 clubhouses, 2 community pools, nature trails, tennis courts, playgrounds and more. Conveniently located to major highways (PA Turnpike) shopping and restaurants, this one is the ideal Chester Springs! Schedule your private showing today!
