This property will appeal to the adventurous and whimsical natured. Step on to the property and watch the wildlife congregate near by. Built on the side of a hill, there is a house, garage/carraige house, gazebo, raised garden beds, a play house and still room for a chicken house, though, not much need for mowing. Anticipation only grows as one climbs the stairs to the main entrance and steps into the foyer with stone work, wood mantel and natural light. Dining room flows into kitchen or Living room as open space and the large windows at the stove and dining area overlook the pasture area and tree lined Millstream on the opposing property, but close up will be the wood peckers and many other birds that come to the deck that is 10 x45, truly a bird lovers paradise. Step into the bathroom and you'll know, it's a one of a kind. Everywhere you go, look down at the uniqueness of the flooring and look around at the fresh paint, including the second floor where a large foyer greets you with giant windows and it's own pattern of flooring don't forget to spy out the built in safe. The Master En-suite offers a haven of beauty and grace and the half bath is tucked behind the walk through closet. Two more generously sized bedrooms with closets round out the second floor. Head to the basement for a cozy quiet getaway where winter evenings are perfect in front of the wood stove. There's even a pile of wood ready and waiting for you. Throw a load of laundry in while you relax, the washer and dryer are standing ready. The home comes with updates that also include 2 year old range custom fit for it's space, a water softner and UV system recently replaced. Out to the garage/carriage, is an oversized one car garage, maybe two, if you tuck vehicles in just right. With an outside entrance, the guest house can be a full living quarters for a family member, or consider a work space that's quiet and close to home. This unit does have a holding tank that needs attention and we'll give good information to take care of the necessary. There is a new water heater and new flooring in the loft area. From the Guest house one can see the play set, but only the nimble toed or creative minded will weave through the path to reach the summit of the hill or rest at the camp fire setting while the young at heart climb into the playhouse. This place is fit for the spirited, seeking something that is outside the ordinary, but needing to experience the awesome sense of peace. Welcome Home!

A
Agricultural District
WLT has significant amounts of land designated for agricultural future land use. Large portions of this land consist of prime farmland that is in need of protection from development if the agricultural economic base, rural character, and way of life is to be maintained. Many areas of prime farmland have already been lost to development pressures. Currently, a majority of the remaining prime farmland is utilized for agriculture, with some land designated for open space and park uses. A significant portion of prime agricultural land can be found surrounding WLT’s historical features (e.g., Hans Herr House) or abutting natural features such as Mill Creek and Pequea Creek. A fair portion of these lands are already enrolled in the Agricultural Preservation Program or are designated as Agricultural Security Areas, while additional acreage is enrolled in the Clean and Green (Act 319) Program. WLT should continue taking steps to preserve its agricultural land, making continued efforts to enroll more farmland in agricultural land preservation programs. This is particularly important for land adjacent to the growth boundaries to create a greenbelt buffer, which not only protects WLT’s character but also acts as a development control when used in conjunction with other policies. These areas adjacent to the growth boundaries are the most threatened because they are closest to areas where public infrastructure could be extended and development correspondingly occur. WLT’s Agricultural Preservation Committee should also take a proactive role in identifying farms and farmers interested in enrolling in land protection programs or seek outside preservation groups to purchase development rights or conservation easements.
