Sitting on over 58 acres of land and located just south of Lancaster City, this sprawling farm offers endless opportunities as an income producing agricultural property or would be perfect for someone looking for a large estate. Featuring a spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath farmhouse built around the original log home that sat on the property, there is so much original woodwork and character throughout while also featuring modern amenities such as central air, replacement windows, and a large family room addition with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and large glass patio doors that lead to a spacious patio. This is the perfect setting for entertaining or enjoying quiet evenings while taking in your gorgeous panoramic farmland views. The property features a beautiful bank barn that has been restored and provides 3 drives and 2 bays on the upper level while providing tons of storage in the lower level. Current owners have hosted numerous weddings and family get-togethers in this space and it could possibly be built out to explore more opportunities as a hosting venue and event space. There is a single garage and summer kitchen on the property that could be built out as an additional in-law quarter or possibly a residential rental option as well. Featuring a 44'x360' 2 story poultry house, the seller is currently contracted with a poultry management company and this facility provides significant income possibilities. Additionally, there is a 4'0x40' heated garage, a 32'x74' heated wood shop, and two other storage buildings, one of which was previously used as a farrowing house. Currently, 50 acres of the property are tillable and are being farmed while an additional 3 acres are planted as pasture. This parcel is registered with Clean and Green for tax savings but is not registered under any Agricultural Preservation programs.

A
Agricultural District
In the interest of public health, safety, and welfare, the Agricultural District is further designed and intended to accomplish the following: Protect and stabilize agriculture in areas of productive soils as an on-going, viable, major component of the economy of the Township.; Permit only those land uses and activities which are agricultural in nature or incidental thereto.; Encourage the preservation of the most productive farmland within the Township as a valuable resource which is lost and not reclaimable once it is developed for any purpose other than agriculture by limiting uses within the Agricultural District, limiting some uses permitted within the Agricultural District to certain soil classifications, and insuring that farms remain of sufficient size to be profitable for farming by limiting the number of lots which may be created, limiting the maximum size of residential lots, and imposing a minimum lot size on farms to be created which is sufficient to insure viability.; Prevent adverse effects resulting from the encroachment and mixing of residential and other incompatible development, with agricultural uses. For the farmer, such mixing would cause increased traffic on the roads used to move farm machinery and livestock; additional litter, which is a nuisance to crop farming and a danger to livestock; damage and loss of crops and livestock from theft, mischief, or trespass; and com-plaints about odors, noise, dust, barbed wire or electric fencing, night operations, and other items which are normal often uncontrollable aspects of farming. For the residential or commercial occupant, farm operations can cause a nuisance and health and safety hazards as well as the possible contamination of well water by agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and animal waste.; Assure the ready availability of agricultural products to the residents of the Township and region.
