Custom built log home with one previous owner. Featuring reclaimed chestnut beams from a Lancaster County barn, this Cedar log home delivers a country style with the comfort of modern times. This property contains a 2 car garage, 3 out buildings, and covered firewood storage in addition to the house itself. Inside, you'll find a kitchen that overlooks the deck and backyard with an island countertop and a full set of beautifully custom built solid oak cabinets for plenty of storage. You won't have to worry about carrying your food far with the kitchen flowing directly into the dining room. Without doors separating the dining room from the kitchen or living room, the house creates a very open feel. The living room opens up to the upper level loft with skylights that brighten up the entire area. The main bedroom with a double door closet can be found on the upper level right next to the main bath that boasts a comfortable jacuzzi tub. Down in the lower level, a finished basement with an unfinished laundry room can be found as well as a door leading to the patio in the back. Storage room or potential third bedroom. Beautiful perennials of all colors and shades of green can be found all over the property, especially directly in front of the log home's wraparound porch, which also boasts a screened section/mud room. A short garden path between the house and garage features a beautifully built stone wall to support the foliage. In the open grass yard can be found a small garden for home-grown produce with room to expand if desired. This is one home that will not last long on the market as houses built with this amount of detail and quality are not often found in this price range.

Rural Residential District
The purpose of this district to foster the continued existence of watersheds, woodlands, and agriculture and to protect critical natural areas such as steep slopes, watercourses, water supplies, and ecosystems. Low-density single- family development is permitted, though conservation by design will allow concentrations of development when significant portions of the tract are permanently reserved for open space. The following are specific purposes for this district: To conserve open land, including those areas containing unique and sensitive natural features such as woodlands, steep slopes, streams, floodplains and wetlands, by setting them aside from development.; To provide greater design flexibility and efficiency in the siting of services and infrastructure, including the opportunity to reduce length of roads, utility runs, and the amount of paving required for residential development.; To reduce erosion and sedimentation by the retention of existing vegetation and the minimization of development on steep slopes.; To provide for a variety of lotting opportunities.; To implement adopted Township policies to conserve a variety of irreplaceable and environmentally sensitive resource lands as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan.; To protect areas of the Township with productive agricultural soils for continued or future agricultural use by conserving blocks of land large enough to allow for efficient farm operations.; To create neighborhoods with direct visual access to open land, with amenities in the form of neighborhood open space.; To provide for the conservation and maintenance of open land within the Township to achieve the above-mentioned goals and for active or passive recreational use by residents.
