Introducing Havenwood, the only property in Bucks County with its own, private, nine-hole, par 33 golf course, making it one of our area's most unique properties. On a spectacular, hidden 30.18 acres with gorgeous gardens and a c. 1735, expanded stone manor house, it offers a genteel, country-club feel as soon as your travel down the tree-lined drive and arrive at the circular drive overlooking a pond and greens that roll out to the horizon. The stately main residence has been meticulously maintained, expanded several times in its 280 years, and updated over time to become a true country house that exudes casual elegance (please note: interior photos will be posted soon!). Gracious rooms, most with custom millwork and wide plank wood floors, are appealing for their warmth and modern comforts. Exposed stone walls and open-beam ceilings add a rustic design element. Its formal living rooms are inviting; most notable is the expansive formal dining room, finished on four walls in a handpainted mural that depicts nearby Carversville, c. 1850. Beyond the kitchen is a breakfast room with the original, immense, stone walk-in fireplace, now converted to gas. Adjacent is a living room with a fireplace and custom built-ins. Beyond is a sun-filled conservatory sure to ease the winter months. A vaulted-ceiling family room with kitchenette, fireplace and full bath, plus such amenities as a custom laundry room and powder room, complete the first floor. An outdoor "living room" patio with awning, television and other amenities adds to the country-club feel in the season. Private quarters can be reached by two stairwells. A main bedroom suite has a modern bath with double vanity, water closet and tile shower along with an entire dressing room with organizers. There are three additional bedrooms and a newer full bath with jetted soaking tub. There also is a private patio accessible via the second floor, a handy private outdoor space for guests. A detached five-car garage with updated two-bedroom caretaker's quarters above overlooks the golf course. Storage for golf carts and other equipment is located in a separate three-bay garage and a meetinghouse-style shed located away from the house. The rear perimeter of the house is deer-fenced. As golfers know, the game is addictive, so for the enthusiast as well as the serious competitor, there's no greater luxury than your very own course and the ability to tee off anytime.
