Welcome to Jericho Barn, a beautiful converted and restored barn nestled atop Stone Mountain! Sitting on over an acre, this property retains the rustic charm of the original barn with the addition of updated and modern trends and amenities. Right through the front door is a large and bright gathering room with hardwood floors, original exposed beams, a wood burning fireplace insert with a wonderful stone surround, and windows that provide gorgeous long distance views from every angle. Continuing on this main level, one will find the bright and spacious master bedroom, with wall-to-wall carpeting, a large walk-in closet with custom organizers, and a large full bath. A second bedroom on this level is equally as bright, with a closet with custom organizers and access to a full hall bath, and a third bedroom on an upper level has dual closets, along with its own full bath. From the gathering room, step right down into a new, bright and airy kitchen boasting hardwood floors, granite countertops, modern stainless steel appliances, a marble subway tile backsplash, plenty of cabinetry, and an island with seating for four. Then, step down into the spacious and bright dining room, which is perfect for gatherings of any size. Filled with natural light through large windows, this gorgeous room opens right out onto a bluestone patio through sliding glass doors. Remnants of the original barn are wonderfully incorporated, as a wood barn door leads to a large storage area, and a cozy study with custom built-ins adjacent to the dining room retains the rustic touch of exposed beams. A few steps away, slate floors and exposed stone walls make up a charming mudroom opening out into the wonderfully landscaped yard, which leads to a stream and old stone walls at the rear of the property. The home also has a two car garage. With original stone and wood details throughout and nature views all around, Jericho Barn provides the best of both worlds as its Upper Makefield location allows for a conveniently easy commute to I-95, shopping, and more, while also providing the perfect country escape.

Jericho Mountain District
The Jericho Mountain District consists of an area within the Region with limited development potential due to steep slopes, poor suitability for on-lot sewer systems, high soil erosion potential, and extremely limited ground-water availability. For these reasons development is limited to single-family detached development on large lots for scattered-type development and cluster-type development, provided that individual on-lot waste disposal systems are utilized in accordance with the Act 537 Plan of the Participating Municipality where building or development is proposed
