Built in 1959 as a replica of a 1790 Bucks County Stone Farmhouse, this one-of-a-kind home, is beautifully situated amid many mature trees on almost 3 acres of natural privacy! This sprawling property has three structures; the main home, a detached garage with guest suite/ home office, and an oversized workshop - while being just minutes away from the center of Newtown. Enter the home and step back in time. The front living/dining area features walnut pegged random width oak floors, a fireplace with wood burning stove and a rustic wood mantle. The kitchen boasts a brick floor, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and skylights, brick framed gas stove with a decorative stainless-steel hood, and poplar cabinets with period hardware. For additional living space, there is a family room also with walnut pegged oak hardwood floors, exposed beams, built in bookcases, and bow window providing gorgeous views of nature. The sun room, with bluestone slate flooring, vaulted ceiling with wood beams, skylights, and floor to ceiling windows, can be accessed from both the kitchen and the family room and provides spectacular views of the natural landscape. A powder room and coat closet complete this level. A classic farmhouse stairway leads to the second level which includes a master suite addition with newly remodeled bath. The second bedroom with oak pegged hardwood floors is highlighted by a gas fireplace with brick surround and wood mantle. Adjacent to bedroom 2 is the remodeled hall bathroom and a door to the third floor bedroom with hardwood floors. Included on the property is the two-car detached garage. There is a separate entrance to the second floor, accessed by an outside staircase. The second floor living space has endless possibilities as a guest suite, in law- suite, art studio or home office. Included in this space is a kitchenette, a full-size refrigerator, full bathroom and walk-in closet. A row of windows and three skylights allows for an abundance of natural light. For the craftsman or the hobbyist there is yet another additional building with a large workshop to transform into any type of workspace you desire. Enjoy the beautiful natural setting surrounding your property by relaxing on the spacious wood deck or stepping out to the fire pit. This home allows you to escape from the bustle of Newtown and re-kindles your love of the outdoors, all without leaving your home.

Conservation Management District
The Conservation Management District consists of valuable natural resources such as woodlands, agricultural soils, floodplains, wetlands, aquifer recharge areas, and areas of steep slopes. The Conservation Management District is dependent on groundwater as the primary water source. Agriculture is a significant and an important use of land in the Conservation Management District. For these reasons, uses are permitted in both type and intensity which provide the maximum opportunities for open space in order to protect the natural resources and encourage the continuation of farming activities. Single-family detached, single-family detached cluster, and performance subdivisions are permitted, provided sewage disposal methods shall replenish the water table in accordance with the wastewater policies of the Joint Municipal Comprehensive Plan and the Sewage Facilities Plan Act 537 of the participating municipality where building or development is proposed. The use and ownership of open space within residential developments shall be designed to achieve the purposes noted above and to be compatible with other uses in the Conservation Management District.
