Wonderful country home, just outside of historic Washington Crossing and 10 minutes from Newtown, with bridge leading to huge driveway. An impressive wrap around porch greets you, overlooking the tranquil scene and sounds of the creek. Step into the two-story foyer with curved staircase which opens into the formal living room and dining room. The gourmet kitchen features a large center island with electric source plus 22' of counter top, a 4' six burner stove-top, built-in wall oven and microwave, 42" wide frig, built in hutch 8' snack bar. A separate breakfast area looks out onto the 2-tier deck and rear yard. You will find the family room one of your favorite places to cozy around the fireplace in the winter and colder month, or enjoy the sun filled room all year round. There are gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the 1st floor. A spacious Master Suite complete with fireplace, walk-in closet and a generous master bath with double vanity, whirlpool soaking tub and shower await your every need, all showered with natural light from the many windows. Three additional bedrooms, all generously sized, have 12' of closet space for plenty of storage. The main bathroom has double vanities and neutral countertops. All carpeting is new and in neutral color giving you the freedom to add any color in walls, curtains and bed linens. A walk-out basement with billiard room, wet bar, hobby room, office, den/movie room with fireplace and game area are located on the lower level. Sliding glass doors let you exit onto the covered patio overlooking the creek. The heated garage has hot and cold running water, 23' wall-to-wall storage closets, separate shop and 9' wide insulated garage doors. You'll never need to leave your home to enjoy the changing seasons on this partially wooded lot, just look out any window. Spring begins filling in all the trees while flowers and shrub bloom, then the gorgeous colors of Fall light up the trees with yellows, oranges, and reds. In the winter you will feel like you live in a winter wonderland when the trees shimmer with ice, the lawn is covered with a blanket of snow and the creek freezes over, all while you are cozy by the fire inside. There is a great hill for sleigh rides or go ice skating up and down along the frozen creek. Easy access and minutes from major roadways, shopping and all conveniences. From the moment you turn into the driveway you feel this home welcoming you. Owner is a licensed PA realtor
