What a warm and welcoming five bedroom (or four bedroom plus main floor office) 2.5 bath home with so many attractive features on a gorgeous 2.77 acre lot on a non-thru street dotted with stately homes. Set far back from the road down a long paved driveway this immaculate home has been the center of many beautiful memories. The open floorplan and spacious rooms have made this home a magnet for all the social gatherings! So many years of love is reflected in the artisanship of the finely crafted details found in the interior and the lovingly tended exterior hardscape, water feature and thoughtfully designed landscaping. Entering the foyer with hardwood floors, shadow box molding and a lovely door with side light windows, you are flanked by the formal dining room on one side and French doors to the gracious living room to the right. Hardwood floors are found throughout most of the home and the living room is no exception. Clad in soft soothing colors, a bay window, crown molding, chair rail and a decorative mantle are the features here. In the dining room is one of many built ins found in several rooms of the home and straight through to the kitchen and family rooms. One large open space is wonderful for entertaining; separated by an attractive granite topped island cantilevered on both sides for casual dining (or a great bar). The kitchen has a center island with storage, pantry, and open to the family room with attractive top nailed hardwood floors, bay window and a stone fireplace with built in bookcases on each side. The kitchen and family room are open to the stunning sunroom! Walls of windows look out on the beautiful rear yard and vaulted ceiling, open beams, double ceiling fans and beautiful tile all combine to create a sunny and bright room in which to linger. Off the kitchen is a main floor bedroom which would also make a great office. A powder room and main floor laundry with cabinetry and a separate entrance complete the main floor. There is even a lundry chute from the master bedroom to the laundry room! On the second floor the primary bedroom suite has all the bells and whistles: hardwood floors, crown molding and wainscoting, a large owner’s bath with jetted tub, stall shower and commode room and a huge 14x13 walk in closet with organizers. Three additional bedrooms, each unique and each featuring a handcrafted built in cabinet share the well appointed hall bath. Custom teak banisters lead you to the basement with drywall and carpeting making it a great rec room. Back outside there are two patio areas with a beautiful koi pond, bubbling fountain and propane fueled fire pit. What a relaxing place to stretch out and take a deep breath surrounded by peace and quiet. Additional features include: 2 zone heat, 3 car garage (one currently used as a workshop), whole house attic fan, new oil tank and furnace, new a/c condenser and so much more. Just 60 minutes to Newark Airport, 80 minutes to NY and Philly. Bethlehem and Doylestown are both 20 minutes away! Palisades School District. Property is owned by a licensed PA Realtor.

RP
Resource Protection District
To protect areas consisting largely of natural features such as mature forest, steep slopes, scenic areas, wetlands, streams, floodplains and ponds including those identified in the latest version of the Bucks County Natural Resources Plan. Intensities are such as to insure that these resources are preserved, while providing for residential development with suitable sewage disposal. The land contained in this district is identified in the Durham Township Comprehensive Plan and the Bucks County Comprehensive Plan as those parts of the Township which contain important natural resource features and/or historic areas which have only a limited capacity for development. Wherever possible the growth of the Township and the County must respect these limitations. Good planning dictates that growth be channeled into those areas that can best accommodate it without damage to the environment or risking the health, safety and welfare of present and future generations.
