Friendly and inviting! This 4-bedroom brick Cape Cod offers the perfect blend of country character and practical updates—set on a generous lot with a dream garage setup for hobbyists, collectors, or anyone needing serious storage. A rare find, the detached 4-car garage features a water spigot, a hydrant in one bay, automatic garage door openers, and plenty of space for vehicles, tools, or recreational toys. An extended overhang with a concrete floor adds even more covered outdoor space. Plenty of driveway space. For those who love a touch of homesteading, there’s a chicken coop and shed—both equipped with lights and outlets. Inside, the home greets you with an expansive mudroom featuring a cathedral ceiling and new vinyl flooring. This versatile space can serve as a sunroom, bonus entry area, or even a home gym. The kitchen has been tastefully refreshed with white painted cabinetry, new butcher block countertops, a glass-top electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, ceiling fan, and a sweet coffee bar area with floating shelves for display and storage. The living room is light and welcoming with neutral carpet, a large bay window, and ceiling fan. On the main level, the primary bedroom offers hardwood floors, a ceiling fan, and a spacious closet. A second bedroom on the first floor makes an ideal office or guest space. The full bath has been updated with a tile floor, a large white vanity with quartz top, a new toilet, and a tub with stylish glass tile surround and a rain-style showerhead. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, including one with a cedar closet. The full basement adds even more value with a root cellar—perfect for canning, wine storage, or pantry overflow—alongside a washer and dryer area, bilco door, a wood stove, and an oil furnace (2016). This home has the advantage of 2 heat sources, forced air and oil. A whole house fan helps keep things cool in warmer months, and the home has been fully insulated with blown-in insulation for energy efficiency. Newer electrical wiring. Enjoy outdoor time on the covered front patio, and appreciate the privacy and space this property offers—all while being close to amenities. Whether you need room to grow, space to work, or a place to play, this home checks all the boxes.

R-2
Low-Density Residential District
In expansion of the declaration of legislative intent and statement of community development objectives found in Article I of this chapter, the primary purpose of the R-2 Low-Density Residential District is to preserve open land, sensitive natural areas, and rural community character that would be lost under conventional development. In addition, the intent of this district is to permit a reasonable amount of residential development in the form of small, compact neighborhoods of single-family detached homes in an open space setting, located and designed to reduce the perceived intensity of development, preserve natural features and farmland, and provide privacy and neighborhood identity. Specific objectives are as follows: To provide for a variety of lotting opportunities consistent with the primary purpose of this district; To preserve open land, including those areas containing unique and sensitive natural features such as woodlands, steep slopes, streams, floodplain and wetlands, by setting them aside from development; To preserve scenic views and elements of the Township's rural character, and to minimize perceived density, by minimizing views of new development from existing roads; To provide greater design flexibility and efficiency in the siting of services and infrastructure, including the opportunity to reduce length of roads, utility runs, and the amount of paving required for residential development; To create compact neighborhoods with direct visual access to preserved open land, with amenities in the form of neighborhood open space, and with a strong neighborhood identity; To implement the goals of the Township's Comprehensive Plan and open space/recreation plan; To reduce erosion and sedimentation by the retention of existing vegetation, and the minimization of development on steep slopes; To create new woodlands through natural succession and reforestation where appropriate, and to encourage the preservation and improvement of habitat for various forms of wildlife; To preserve areas of the Township with productive agricultural soils for continued or future agricultural use, by preserving blocks of land large enough to allow for efficient farm operations; To provide for the preservation and maintenance of open land within the Township to achieve the above-mentioned goals and for active or passive recreational use by residents; To provide standards for preservation of open land and neighborhood lotting to be used in this district.
