Fantastic Lowcountry-Style house on a half-acre size lot with Eastern Exposure! Beautifully landscaped yard with rows of azaleas and a canopy of Live-Oak trees. The back yard is large and level with sod. You walk into this house and look straight out through the wall of windows overlooking the creek, marshes and private dock. Family room has cathedral ceilings with plenty of windows to bring in the natural light and opens to a deck. Family room flows to dining area, sunroom and kitchen with a breakfast area. Spacious kitchen has plenty of cabinets and large island. Beautiful oak flooring throughout with tile in the bathrooms. Great floor plan with all one level living. Master suite overlooks marsh and opens to screened porch. Master bath is handicap accessible. Two more bedrooms and a bath round off this very functional floor plan. Bedroom #3 can be accessed through the hallway (with a closet in the hall) or through double doors off of the foyer - which makes it a great office space or music room. The two car garage is attached and there is a lift to bring you up to the utility room near the kitchen. The house is elevated which leaves plenty of room under for a work room and storage. The existing private dock (ramp and float) do need to be extended to reach the deeper water. Lost Island is just ten minutes from downtown Historic Beaufort but is like your own private oasis. It is surrounded by water has a lovely serene feel!

T2RN
Rural Neighborhood Zone
The Rural Neighborhood T2RN Zone protects the residential character of existing communities and neighborhoods in the rural area. The district is intended to minimize non-conforming lots and provide owners of small, clustered rural lots flexibility in the use of their land. The districts are established by identifying areas with five contiguous lots of five or fewer acres. It permits subdivision of existing lots to a maximum of 1.2 units to one-acre gross density, with DHEC approval, for wastewater treatment. The district is not intended to promote tract development or to encourage rezoning. The T2 Rural Neighborhood T2RN Zone implements the Comprehensive Plan goals of preserving the rural character of portions of Beaufort County.
