If low maintenance, peaceful, country life is what you seek, you've got to see this one! The pastoral setting is breathtakingly quiet but minutes away from I-75 and Norris Lake. This is a well kept jewel with split bedrooms, wood burning fireplace, and fenced in back yard. Some standout features include a detached, fully insulated 936 sq ft garage/workshop and the ''Florida Room'' which is a finished garage with fully insulated door AND a full screen door to open it up to the world. A few of the more utilitarian niceties include 200 amp power, all copper plumbing, updated soffits and vents with additional insulation in the attic, and 2 yo HVAC system. Established perennial garden in the back and plenty of yard all around to grow a vegetable garden or raise chickens. A very sweet place!

A-1
Agricultural-Forestry District
This district is intended to preserve space for agricultural and forestry uses which together comprise an important segment of the economy of Anderson County. The primary intent of the A-l District is to minimize conflicts between agriculture-forestry activities and various non-farm activities, to permit land best suited for intense agricultural uses to be preserved for these purposes, and to prevent lands unsuitable for development of an urban or non-rural nature, due to topographic problems, location, or the inability to provide urban services, from being encroached upon by these incompatible land uses. Areas assigned to the A-l District are primarily areas where growth of an urban or non-rural nature is deemed undesirable for one or more of the reasons outlined above.
