Welcome home to this beautifully updated and exceptionally well-maintained home situated on a picturesque 1.52-acre lot. Bursting with charm and character, this spacious property offers an inviting open-concept kitchen and dining area that flows seamlessly into the large living room—perfect for everyday living and entertaining alike. The generously sized bedrooms feature ample closet space, while the bright and airy sunroom, complete with French doors just off the kitchen, provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy views of the beautifully landscaped yard. The current owner thoughtfully removed a wall to create a dedicated dining room, enhancing the home's open feel and functionality. However, for buyers needing additional space, this area could easily be converted back into a third bedroom by reinstalling the wall. Outside, you'll find mature landscaping, a storage shed, and plenty of room to enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the expansive 1.52-acre lot. Nearly every major component of the home has been thoughtfully updated, making this property truly move-in ready. Between 2017 and 2018, improvements included a new roof, water heater, carpet, kitchen flooring, interior and exterior doors, trim, a beautifully renovated kitchen, the addition of a convenient entry/mudroom, a dedicated laundry room, upgraded electrical panel, paved driveway, updated landscaping, and storage shed. Plumbing was also upgraded with PEX water lines and redone drain lines. Charming beadboard ceilings add character to both the kitchen and front bedroom. Additional updates include a new HVAC system in 2020, new metal HVAC ductwork in 2021, and new gutters and attic insulation in 2022. With extensive improvements throughout, this home offers the peace of mind of modern updates while maintaining its warm, welcoming charm. Simply unpack and start enjoying all this incredible property has to offer!

A-1
Agricultural-Forestry District
This district is intended to preserve space for agricultural and forestry uses which together comprise an important segment of the economy of Bedford County and to better protect these agricultural and agri-tourism economies by respecting the important cultural and economic value of our unique natural aesthetic resources. The primary intent of the A-1 District is to minimize conflicts between agricultural and forestry activities and various non-farm activities; to permit lands that are best suited for intense agricultural uses to be preserved for these suited purposes; and to prevent lands unsuitable for development of an urban or non-rural nature - due to topographic problems, location, or the inability to provide necessary urban services, from being encroached upon by these incompatible land uses. Areas assigned to the A-1 District are primarily areas where growth of an urban or non-rural nature is deemed undesirable for one or more of the reasons outlined above. Although the A-1 District is primarily a rural district, it also provides for low-density residential development with lot sizes for single-family dwellings being more restrictive than those of the other residential districts.
