Roger Arbuckle and Ronda Kirk are 8th generation Texans who are direct descendants of William Bailey Standifer who came to Texas in 1828 as a part of Stephen F Austin’s Little Colony. Many special times have been enjoyed on this property by the family raising and working cattle, harvesting pecans from the 200 plus pecans trees along the banks of Little Sandy Creek.
