SF6
Single-Family Residential-6 District
The SF-6, Single-Family Residential-6, district was originally intended to provide for development of primarily detached, single-family residences on small, compact lots of not less than 7,700 sq ft in size, churches, schools and public parks in logical neighborhood units. Areas that were already zoned and developed i.e., platted of record for the SF-6 district as of the effective date of this Ordinance shall remain designated SF-6 under this Ordinance, but the creation of new SF-6 zoned areas within the City of Forney is not anticipated nor desired. Planned Development Districts are the preferred method for the creation of new residential zoned areas.
