1890 Sandy Fork Rd, Harwood, TX 78632

Take a look at this 25 acre ranch offering a great combination of usable land, existing improvements, and room for future plans. Surrounded by larger ranches, this property provides privacy and a country setting while remaining within driving distance of Bastrop, Gonzales, and Lockhart. A tree lined circular driveway shaded by beautiful crepe myrtles welcomes you onto the property. The front 25 acres feature a pond, several cross fenced pastures, mature trees, and multiple areas suitable for livestock, gardening, recreation, or a future homesite. An older home sits on the property along with several outbuildings. While all improvements are in need of rehabilitation, they provide a starting point for someone looking to restore, renovate, or build new. Existing infrastructure includes a septic system, electricity, a Co-op water meter, and an agricultural well. All owned water rights convey with the sale. There is a chicken coop & several small livestock areas already in place. Whether your plans include raising chickens, goats, sheep, or other animals, much of the groundwork has already been started. Large shade trees throughout the property add character and help create a comfortable setting for both people and livestock. Wildlife is commonly seen throughout the area, including deer, turkey, and other native species. The pond, trees, and open pasture areas create a natural habitat while also adding to the property's overall appeal. Several potential building sites offer opportunities for a custom home, barndominium, guest house, or weekend getaway. For buyers looking for additional acreage, the seller is willing to sell up to 50 acres total. Properties with existing utilities, water, cross fencing, mature trees, and this much potential are becoming harder to find. Come walk the land, explore the improvements, and see how this property could fit your plans.
