About this home
Originally the Holton Brewery in the mid 1800's, this bright and freshly painted colonial has been well cared for and loved. This home includes wood floors and newer extra large double pane windows throughout. Spend time on the fantastic wraparound porch overlooking the perennial garden. There are two separate living areas on the first floor. The large eat-in kitchen features ample counter space and cabinets, with a flow that is great for preparing meals. The deck is perfect for morning coffee. On the first floor there is a full bath with laundry. On the second floor you will find three bedrooms, and a bath. The oversized and leveled yard is a wonderful retreat with apple, cherry, pear, and plum trees. Enjoy the fire pit area while listening to the sound of the brook. There is enough outdoor space for additional gardens. The studio/shed offers lots of potential. The location is very convenient to downtown Brattleboro and I-91. Delayed showings until 7/9/22 with showings from 10:00-2:00 by appointment only. Masks requested for showings.

Residential Neighborhood District
The Residential Neighborhood District is composed of high- to moderate-density residential neighborhoods extending outward from downtown Brattleboro and West Brattleboro village, and along the Route 9 corridor. While primarily residential in use, these neighborhoods vary significantly in the form and density of housing they offer, and include traditional neighborhoods, post-war suburban-style neighborhoods, multi-family developments, townhouses and mobile home parks. The land within this district is generally served by municipal water and sewer. Walkability and proximity to public transit service, neighborhood stores, schools, parks and other amenities varies by neighborhood. The purpose of this district is to allow a diverse range of housing, encourage an increase in and improvement of the town’s housing stock, and promote more compact, walkable neighborhoods in balance with protection of neighborhood character and quality of life, and in accordance with the policies of the Brattleboro Town Plan.
