It is said that the Abenaki people celebrated at the summit and it is easy to imagine that they, too, were moved by the prodigious views to all four compass points. Just below the crest of the hill is a large barn with a whimsical round window. From the spacious loft apartment, you can watch spectacular sunrises from the comfort of your bed. The apartment has a full kitchen, cozy woodstove, balcony and internet (the owner worked remotely). It has its own septic system. Below the apartment is a large, heated garage/workshop. A second barn is used for storing equipment and gear. The property is powered by a solar array along with 24 batteries and a propane back-up generator, which is rarely used. Miles of trails on the property abut the Green Mountain Trail system (see map), offering up some of the most amazing singletrack for mountain biking in the state. The VAST trail runs through the outer edge of the property.
