About this home
Situated on almost 17 acres of sloping land sits this former camp that has been converted into a 3 bed, 2.5 bath single family dwelling with a full poured concrete foundation and a new second story adding to the living space. The main level offers an open floor plan with a huge living room with woodstove and access to the back deck, the kitchen/dining area and one of the full baths. The new second floor is not completely finished but has two bedrooms and a half bath and the walk-out basement offers a large third bedroom with its own full bath, a bonus room with another woodstove and the utility room. There is a large open lawn area in back with a handy shed to store toys and equipment. Perhaps the greatest attribute is the tremendous view that is evident this time of year due to the lack of leaves but would need to have some significant clearing done to open it up for year-round enjoyment. The location is ideal for those in search of privacy yet easy access and proximal to year-round recreational fun on the lakes and mountains of the Green Mountain National Forest. VAST snowmobile trail is very close!
Private country house situated on over 16 acres of mostly wooded land. House has been used as a second/vacation home for years. Easy access from Mass. via RT 112. 10 min. drive to Lake Harriman and 15 min to Mt. Snow. Good sized yard with 2 sheds, Garden areas and fire pit/gathering area complete with deck and gazebo ideal for outdoor parties and cookouts. Could be converted to primary home but ideal as a getaway.

RR
Rural Residential District
The purpose of the Rural Residential District is to provide for residential development and compatible light industrial & light commercial uses at moderate densities which are easily accessible to Class 2 and 3 public roads. It is anticipated that the bulk of new residential and light commercial growth will take place within this district. Special care should be taken to protect the rural-residential character of this district, to locate proposed development off of productive agricultural lands, and to minimize forest fragmentation. Non-residential development proposed in the RR District shall be carefully reviewed on a case-by-case basis utilizing the standards established under Conditional Use Approval, and elsewhere throughout this Zoning Regulation including, but not limited to General Performance Standards, Landscaping Requirements, and Article 5 Special Regulations, as applicable.
