About this home
Take advantage of todays Spring Price Reduction! Listen to the sounds of the gurgling rocky creek and the rustle of the wind thru the tall trees on your own private sanctuary. Escape to your own picturesque camping site in the grassy, open meadow hidden inside over 8 forested acres. This private property is tucked away behind a locked security gate and offers the perfect blend of seclusion but not isolation. Just minutes to major grocery stores, quaint little shops and lounges of Centralia's historic district, factory outlets and the outstanding recreational features of historic Fort Borst Park and the Centralia sports complexes. Camp "off grid" in the basic A-frame cabin (no kitchen or bath facilities) or set up an RV while planning construction for a conventional home. Includes a water well currently set up to run off of a portable generator. No permanent power or septic has been installed back to the campsite. Additional storage building to keep the lawn mower and BBQ equipment. Scammon creek borders this site to the North and Graf Rd borders on the South. Although a long distance to the cabin site, there is a transformer and full electric service dedicated to this property at the gated entrance, fully connected and operating. This runs a security light and has outdoor electric service and 200A breaker box. A fun recreational property with some great features for a future permanent home.

RDD-5
Rural Development District
The Rural Development District is the portion of land in Lewis County not otherwise designated. While the Rural Development District has an overall density designation of one unit per five acres, the combinations of steep slopes, tight soils, flood plains, and unbuildable critical areas will provide a wide variety of rural residential densities, and will preserve the rural character of the county while providing reasonable opportunity for any low density development. The purpose of this chapter is to achieve a variety of lot sizes, protect rural character, and protect small rural business which have historically served the citizens of Lewis County.
