About this home
Charming home and farm! This 1920 home has been lovingly cared for and still has all of the vintage charm while adding modern amenities like an updated kitchen and heat pump and updated wiring and plumbing. Interior is freshly painted, including the basement. The best part of this property are the outdoor features. Original 40x26 barn with loft has been well maintained and is freshly painted and clean with lean tos on 3 sides. An old chicken barn has been converted in 3 multipurpose rooms for storage, home based business, gym or even a classroom! The property is just over 15 acres of manicured pasture that is fully fenced. The property also features garden space, fruit trees, greenhouse, chicken coop, old milk house and creek frontage.

RDD-10
Rural Development District
The Rural Development District is the portion of land in Lewis County not otherwise designated. While the Rural Development District has an overall density designation of one unit per 10 acres, the combinations of steep slopes, tight soils, flood plains, and unbuildable critical areas will provide a wide variety of rural residential densities, and will preserve the rural character of the county while providing reasonable opportunity for any low density development. The purpose of this chapter is to achieve a variety of lot sizes, protect rural character, and protect small rural business which have historically served the citizens of Lewis County.
