About this home
Public Remarks: Reminiscent of an estate in the Scottish Highlands (complete w/ grazing sheep), this 35 acre homestead sits within 10 miles of downtown Madison. The stately Colonial home features rough hewn barn beams, a fieldstone fireplace, paneled wainscotting, lots of hardwood flooring, an office with a fireplace and an exceptional sun room. An updated antique horse barn with wood fenced paddocks and meandering stone walls throughout the property offer a rustic warmth to this idyllic setting.
*Taxable value of land and structures on it ("additions") is determined regularly by local assessors and does not affect market price.

Stats., 91.48, if all of the following apply: The political subdivision finds all of the following, after public hearing: The rezoned land is better suited for a use not allowed in the farmland preservation zoning district.; The rezoning is consistent with any applicable comprehensive plan; The rezoning is substantially consistent with the county's certified farmland preservation plan.; The rezoning will not substantially impair or limit current or future agricultural use of surrounding parcels of land that are zoned for or legally restricted to agricultural use.; The city shall, by March 1 of each year, provide a rezone report and map to DATP and Dane County identifying the number of acres rezoned out of A-X.
