The purpose of the A-1 District is to provide a method of obtaining the agricultural goals and objectives and protecting the Agricultural Preservation Areas indicated in the Town Land Use Plan and the County Farmland Preservation Plan. This district exclusively provides for agricultural uses and uses consistent with agriculture. The intent in having this district is to conserve prime agricultural soils and historically farmed areas for agricultural production. Prime agricultural soils are predominant in this district and are to be very sparsely developed to protect the Town's and the County's agricultural economic base.; All structures and improvements in this district shall be consistent with agricultural use as defined in the definitions section of this ordinance. This district's boundaries shall be consistent with the Exclusive Agricultural Preservation areas on the certified County Farmland Preservation Plan Map and to be eligible for the State of Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Program.
