About this home
Lovely light-filled corner lot spacious condo is ready for only its second owner! Madison address, but just off Siggelkow Rd, McFarland. Well managed condo association. This layout is exceptionally well planned, mud room/laundry just off the garage and nice foyer to greet your guests. Vaulted ceilings in great room with skylights and west facing windows. Four season sun room with attached outside corner deck for morning coffee or evening dinners. Walk in closets for all three bedrooms, plenty of closets and storage space. Ample cabinetry in the kitchen with breakfast bar open to the great room. Lower level is partially above ground and doesn't feel like you're in the basement. Two gas fireplaces to add extra cozy times for the cool temps ahead. Don't miss this great opportunity!
East Side, located between the Yahara River and Lake Monona, is a residential and commercial Madison neighborhood with a lakeside shoreline and a bike-trail network. The neighborhood’s character concentrates along Williamson Street (“Willy St”), where co-ops, coffee counters, record bins, and patio tables set a steady street-level hum. Willy Street Co-op, the Barrymore Theatre, and Working Draft Beer Company act as cultural anchors with a distinctly local cadence. Early-20th-century houses and compact apartment buildings mix with converted industrial spaces near the river. Parks and water access shape daily routines, from shoreline walks to paddling launches. The isthmus geography keeps views, breezes, and bridges in constant rotation.

SR-C3
Suburban Residential-Consistent 3 District
The SR-C Districts are established to stabilize and protect the essential characteristics of low- to moderate-density residential areas typically located in the outlying parts of the City, and to promote and encourage a suitable environment for family life while accommodating a full range of life cycle housing. The districts are also intended to: Ensure that new buildings and additions to existing buildings are designed with sensitivity to their context in terms of building placement, facade width, height and proportions, garage and driveway placement, landscaping, and similar design features; Maintain and improve the viability of existing housing of all types, while providing for updating of older housing in a context-sensitive manner; Maintain or increase compatibility between residential and other allowed uses, and between different housing types, where permitted, by maintaining consistent building orientation and parking placement and screening; Facilitate the preservation, development or redevelopment goals of the Comprehensive Plan and of adopted neighborhood, corridor or special area plans; In new development, use of the SR-C1 District, in conjunction with other residential districts, should be limited to insuring a mix of housing types, or for reasons related to topography, stormwater management, or other environmental considerations.
