A-5
Agricultural Transition District - Small-Scale
The primary purposes of the A-5 District are to provide for the orderly transition of small parcels of agricultural land into other nonagricultural uses, if so desired by the landowner; defer urban development until the appropriate local governmental bodies determine that adequate public services and facilities can be provided at a reasonable cost; ensure that urban development is compatible with local land use policies; and provide periodic review to determine whether all or part of the land should be transferred to another zoning district.
