Public Remarks: Experience turnkey Northwoods lake living on beautiful Rooney Lake. Tucked among towering Norway pines along the shores of Rooney Lake, this thoughtfully renovated cabin captures everything people love about the Northwoods. Elevated just enough to take in west-facing lake views, the property offers a picture-perfect setting with lovely sunsets, a sandy swimming beach, and a shoreline designed for making memories. Whether it's morning coffee on the lakeside deck, afternoons spent swimming, or evenings gathered around the firepit under the pines, this place invites you to slow down and enjoy lake life. Inside, you'll immediately appreciate the attention to detail. Features include beautiful wood finishes, custom walnut cabinetry, granite countertops, rough-sawn red oak flooring, alder doors, and a Vermont Castings wood stove. Large Andersen windows and patio doors frame beautiful lake views and fill the cabin with natural light throughout the day. Beyond the cosmetic updates, the cabin was completely rebuilt to the studs in 2021 with a new conventional 2-bedroom septic system, all new mechanicals, and spray foam insulation throughout. The result is an exceptionally efficient, low-maintenance property that is comfortably enjoyed year-round by the current owners. Designed for those who value time at the lake over weekend maintenance projects, this is an easy to own Northwoods retreat in an exceptional waterfront setting. Outside, the grandfathered boathouse offers a rare opportunity for future renovation. Located on 329 acre Rooney Lake, known for its clear water, sandbar, and great fishing, this property is tucked away on a quiet dead-end private drive, yet remains conveniently close to the McKenzie Lakes, Webb Lake, area restaurants, recreational trails, and Spooner. Some properties simply feel special the moment you arrive. This is one of them.
