Your dream comes true living in this immaculately maintained 1,500 SF log cabin with LR, DR, three bedrooms, two baths, a brick, wood burning fireplace with mantle and hearth, stainless steel kitchen with oak cabinetry, a door from the kitchen leading to an outside deck, front porch which expands the full length of the house and a full 1,500 SF basement that includes a washer & dryer, built-in wooden shelving, steel shelving unit, & two work benches. Morning coffee on your front porch is a treat, while your quiet evenings can be spent on the back deck, where mother nature provides a tranquil place to grill and relax. What's been done? The exterior was completely re-stained in 2018; the front & back decks were recently painted; a new well pump and all electrical wiring were installed in 2022; a new hot water tank and pressure tank were installed in 2022, and a new condensation pump in 2023. Our community, Shannondale, is nestled between the Shenandoah River and the Appalachian Trail on the western slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dulles Airport is 47 minutes away, and the Marc Train is a 17-minute ride. Those new to West Virginia will discover the extraordinary beauty of the state with its majestic mountains, rivers, hiking trails, and many country roads to explore.
Shhhhhh, I have a secret, this log home is gorgeous inside. Snag your agent of choice, tippy toe out this property and snag it quick. I won't tell anyone else about the open floor plan, large fire place, sunny kitchen, stainless steel appliances, fully unfinished basement for family growth! R
Rural (Agricultural) District
The purpose of this district is to provide a location for low density single family residential development in conjunction with providing continued farming activities. This district is generally not served with public water or sewer facilities although certain size developments processed under the cluster provision of Section 5.7D(2) may choose to do so. A primary function of the low density residential development permitted within this section is to preserve the rural character of the County and the agricultural community. All lots subdivided in the Rural District are subject to Section 5.7D. The Envision Jefferson 2035 Comprehensive Plan recommends that the cluster provision of the Zoning Ordinance be the preferred method of residential development in the Rural zoning district.
